WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - MBBR TECHNOLOGY
For the treatment of the waste water in question, a total oxidative cycle treatment plant with MBBR technology was studied with aerobic digestion of the sludge obtained simultaneously with the sewage treatment in the same oxidation phase.
The oxidation section has been designed with MBBR technology, which consists of a mobile bed composed of polypropylene filling bodies with a high specific surface which allows to develop a greater concentration of aerobic biological mass, thus decreasing the volume necessary for oxidation . The MBBR process combines the two technologies that of activated sludge processes and that of adhered biofilm processes.
Regarding the works relating to the plant, prefabricated monobloc tanks were chosen, reducing the "civil" interventions on site to the advantage of the speed and simplicity of execution of the products themselves.
All the operations carried out in the system are controlled by a centralized electrical panel. Each component can be inserted in the automatic cycle or disconnected if it is necessary to carry out manually controlled operations outside said cycle.
