Biogas storage plant production

Construction of plants to produce and store biogas

Do you run an agricultural business and you think you can get biogas from your production processes, or from processing waste? Are you looking for a partner able to design and build the production and storage plant? Idro Group has the right solutions for you because it deals with biogas storage plants, especially for agriculture. A reliable and intelligent biogas production system saves time and money and has significant energy benefits. Biogas is a fuel produced by the degradation of organic matter by micro-organisms in the absence of oxygen and consists in the demolition of substances contained in plants, sludge and animal by-products.

Idro Group: storage facilities and more

Idro Group designs and builds biogas production and storage plants especially for companies operating in the agricultural sector. The plants are made with cutting-edge components that allow to reduce waste, rationalize management costs and ensure a perfect functioning over time. There are different ways of producing biogas, starting from:

  • Agricultural biomass (silo maize, sorghum, triticale, rye, sunflower, straw, cereal flour, agricultural waste in general)
  • Livestock manure (cattle manure, cattle manure, pig manure, horse manure, goat manure, sheep manure, pollen)
  • Other biomass produced from processing waste (sewage sludge, fruit and vegetable residues, agri-food waste, canteen waste, slaughter waste, fish processing waste, blood, serum).

The stored biogas can be refined and purified for the production of biomethane (99 % methane) or can be used for the production of electricity in cogeneration groups.

The proposed solutions

Biogas and biomethane plants proposed by Idro Group are distinguished according to the matrix used: from livestock waste and/or agricultural biomass, or from the organic fraction from waste. The production of electricity and heat from biomass can be a new and important source of income or cost containment, thanks to the growing demand for energy from renewable sources and the increase in the cost of supplies. Electricity produced in this way is in fact a form of green energy because produced with a low environmental impact.
