In the IDRODEPURAZIONE’s static separators, greases and oils are separated from the waste water by the physic principle of the floatation, a natural phenomenon that allows the greases, with a lower specific weight than the water, to part from it appearing on the surface.
Oils and greases separators are used for the pre-treatment of kitchen waste water and, generically, for all the waste water wherein animal or vegetal oils and greases may be.
The greasy substances must be separated near the source because they may damage the pipes, occluding them, and they easily decompose causing nauseating smells.
